History . . .
In the early fall of 1976 Jean Gibbs ran an ad in the Kansas City Star asking Coca-Cola collectors in the area to contact her. As a result, there was a meeting held in Kansas City between Jean, Wayne Glover from Kansas, Bob Morris from Kansas City, Mark Magel from Independence, and Jerry Mathis from Kansas. After much discussion these pioneers helped to form a Chapter from the four state area of Kansas, Missouri, Iowa and Nebraska. A chapter was born on October 9, 1976 with over 30 people attending the first meeting.
